Suzanna Gregoire is a Senior Department Services Assistant within the Technology Department at Denver Health Hospital. Since 2017, Suzanna has provided administrative project support to the Senior IT Operations Director, Chief Medical Information Officer, Associate Chief Nursing Informatics Officer and Project Management Organization Director.
Suzanna is the youngest of 8 and a first-generation Haitian-American who attributes her philanthropy and community involvement to her parents – immigrants who fled Haiti to seek the American Dream. Her passion is to travel and assist the less fortunate. Currently, she serves as the Dress for Success Professional Women’s Group Ambassador and on her free time, she volunteers through the Denver Health Foundation and as a Creole-Speaking translator for Haitians seeking asylum in the United States through the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN).
A transplant from New York City, Suzanna obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Arts from St. Francis College in Brooklyn. Her past experience includes working with the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office to tackle on various issues facing Brooklynites. In 2015, Suzanna left the big apple to move to Gunnison, Colorado. While in Gunnison, she used that opportunity to travel to countries such as Colombia, St. Barths, Jamaica, Mexico, Thailand, Panama, Germany, and France and Switzerland. While traveling, Suzanna made stops in Haiti and in the Dominican Republic to provide relief efforts and supplies to impoverished communities throughout the island. Since then, Suzanna continues to send school supplies to children living in northern Haiti annually. She relocated to Denver in February of 2017 and has maintained employment at Denver Health Hospital and Authority since.
Suzanna is a self-professed optimist who speaks English, Creole and French – and is currently learning Spanish. She aspires to obtain a Project Management Professional certification and secure a Public Policy role in the state of Colorado. Her ultimate objective is to build a primary school in the northern city of Cap-Haitien, Haiti. Although she considers herself a citizen of the world, Denver is where she refers to as home.
