Bio

Kimberlee Sia is currently the President & CEO of Colorado “I Have A Dream” Foundation. In this role, Kimberlee leads the organization in the strategic implementation of extended learning opportunities, mental health supports for youth and families, college and career readiness support for high school and college-aged students, and family and community engagement opportunities. With more than 20 years of experience working in education and youth development, Kimberlee has found holistic supports for children and families and collaborative relationships with the community are the foundation for academic success. Prior to joining Colorado “I Have A Dream” Foundation in October 2019, Kimberlee was the Chief Executive Officer of KIPP Colorado Schools, growing the organization from three to six schools and supporting 2,500 students in Denver. Kimberlee began her career as a teacher working in New Jersey and California before transitioning to founding school principal, Director of Professional Development, Regional Vice President, and Chief Academic Officer roles with Lighthouse Academies. 

In addition to leading Colorado “I Have A Dream” Foundation, Kimberlee currently is the Chair of the University Prep Board and also serves on the Mockingbird Foundation Board, Colorado League of Charter Schools Board, and Democrats for Education Reform (DFER) – Colorado Advisory Board. Kimberlee has completed the Downtown Denver Partnership’s Leadership Program and is an American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Leadership Network Fellow.

When Kimberlee is not engaging in her work and volunteer commitments, she loves spending time snowboarding, hiking, cooking, reading, and relaxing with her husband, Andrew, and daughters, Avery and Adeline.
